Friend membership enables a member to keep in touch with GPTI and attend the GPTI conference (and AGM as a non-voting member). Its aim is to create opportunities for mutual informal support between gestaltists. Friends may be co-opted onto GPTI committees where they have relevant expertise but are not eligible to stand for election.
All Friends receive the British Gestalt Journal as part of the subscription along with access to members area of website and invite to annual conference. Jiscmail, the GPTI email list, can be opted into by sending an email to admin@gpti.org.uk.
The category of Friend confers no rights, carries no certification and cannot be used in any way as evidence of competence. Friends may not advertise themselves as Members of GPTI.
